Reconnecting screen wash bottle how do I get to it?

Post by Winchweight »

My screen wash bottle has become detached from the filler. I have bought a new seal and intend to fit it tomorrow, but as the van is a Syncro I thought I'd check before dropping the bash plate, is it accessed from below via the baseplate / spare wheel, or through the grill?

If i remeber correctly, no need to remove bash plate unless its got a none std one, there should be 2 x 10mm spanners size screws on the bashplate side and one on the diagonal outrigger, wether they loosen or not is another matter
then wiggle it down, watch out for washer hose and lecky connections, also prior to this best check the filler pipe nut is tight in the cab so it stays in place,
post up picks of the job . something to read as well
