Finally got the new fuel tank in! So that's new tank and lines!
Still haven't decided about exhaust! Tempered to remove engine and gearbox with exhaust still on and do it with better access.
I don't think the in laws will be happy with me removing the engine on their drive though, so that leave the question where can I do it?
I think whilst procrastinating on that I may do the wiring upgrades.
Here goes my savings...

Finally got to do some more on the van today. Got the bumpers on which should keep the inlaws happier.
Also fitted the new alternator. Cant get the van started though. Clearly I am missing something somewhere. Put the jump pack on charge tonight. Haven't got a battery charger so need the jump pack to start the van. The battery is probably needs to be replaced though as it has been sitting flat for a couple of months.

I replaced the cable from the alternator to the starter, skipping out the alternator to junction box as these are connected anyway at the starter?

Got the van up and running today! Didn't go anywhere as it needs insurance and bits tightening up. But a new battery did the trick.
