Panel van conversion window seals

Post by RobH »

Anyone used the custom and commercial panel van window rubbers?
Need some new seals, seen JK have "new improved" seals but don't think I'm ready to risk them.

I used Alan Schofield http://www.alanhschofield.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for the front and rear screens and Seals Direct http://www.sealsdirect.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for the side windows. Very pleased with quality and service from both companies.

I've used custom & comm , school field and vw seals on my Westy and all seemed good.

Not panel van though so not sure if the same?

I too have used seals direct for panel van conversion side window seals before, as at least you get to pick exactly which of the Claytonrite type seals you want, such as different sizes of groove to take the glass and the panel, as when you buy they from one of a number of camper suppliers you just get whatever they think is right.

If you haven't got one you will also need the installation tool for putting the beading in, and lots of slippery stuff.
