Preservation parts panels

Post by what2do »

Anybody know much about theses 'British made' panels that JK are promoting as superior quality?
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?

Oh, so not new fantastic quality panels as I'm led to believe.

I thought jk were having them made "on site" (there place) , but I may be wrong, perhaps I was just presuming that as that's the way they were marketing them.

Trouble is, none of these aftermarket panels shall ever equal those of the vm. But to be fair to Schofield panels, I've fitted quite a few now and for example, their fridge repair panel (o/s lower sill) was a good fit and looks fine now it's installed. Same goes for their rear wheel-arch panels and the lower B and D post repair panels. Sure, all need a little fettling but seeing as these aren't generally available from Heritage, then thats as good as it gets.
:ok
