Slight aside =

How much do breakers pay for an average scrap car these days?
A mate of mine has had a scrap Tranny on the (private) lane at the side of his house for years now.
I keep suggesting he gets a a breaker to come and collect it - feasible?
Thinks to self, why am I asking here, should just ring them up
Got a new van, but it's a 165bhp T4 [shock horror] Accurate LPG Station map here

I got £270 for my 3 series bmw last year. I suspect every vehicle is different dependant on the second hand value of the parts.
