Hi Ivorblueun
On the one in my bus the clips that hold the cover on are broken.
I have got hold of one that is OK, except the perspex is scratched and one is cracked. So I want to replace them with my originals Any ideas?

if you mean the actual instrument pod cover clips, they are attached to the cover itself which is removable on its own. if you put your hand down the back of the cover nearest windsrceen you will feel 2 indentations apply pressure and rotate the cover towards you, and just fit the the new cover back on the instrument pod is held in place by screws

No Ivorblueun, its not the cover that is damaged, it is plastic molding that the instruments and switches are fitted into. As I said the glass covers on the original are perfect. On the one I have just got they are damaged Sooo I have to find a way to swop them

its possible to remove the printed cct from the rear and then the individual clocks but if the actual housing is damaged thats a bit of a non starter, if it were me I'd try a very thin sharp blade and try and tease them out, from looking at mine it seems just the top and bottom of the perspex is fixed not much help i'm affraid maybe someone will be along who's done it

Pressure form inside is all you can do - the perspex is glued - it will come out pretty much intact, just need to remove the glue remains from both surfaces to get a decent alignment when replacing.
Put pressure on with thumbs I found you got a feel of it as it breaks free, do a bit top and bottom
no guarantes though, you may have a monday morning lots of glue and it all breaks into bits or you may have a friday afternoon, just two little dabs and it comes apart easily.
good luck
I did this to fit a trip clock speedo into a non trip dash binnacle, acceptable result for me, but then I'm easily pleased : )

Beaker you were lucky. Came out in 20 odd pieces.
Lucky I started on that one first as I still have the original in the bus,.
SOOooo now I have to start mucking about with Perspex to make new ones
 Any of you folk out there got some Blue tint Perspex about 3/16 before I start. Try something different.
If you are thinking of removing this from your Pod...DONT
