Hi there
I am looking at tearing down my suspension over the winter and replacing and cleaning everything up.
I was wondering what is the best stuff to use, I am not going for concurs type prep, more of a wire brush, jet wash sanding type thing.
What would be my best options>?

Re: Underside tidy
It depends how far you want to go. We got the main components gritblasted, galvanised and then powdercoated.

Don't think I will go that involved. I was thinking more a spruce up. Maybe hammerite (although I hate the stuff)??

Might as well grit blast the stuff when you have it off. Only way to get rid of all the rust and layers of grime. I painted mine. Epoxy primer then rustoleum. Will be very surprised if I will ever have to do anything to them again.
