any good? this is 4 speed though is that different?

bear in mind the engine will move, while this LPG mixer ring addition means the pancake just clears in reality it hits the metalwork as the engine moves, I solved the problem with Mr Hammer and it now just touches the soundproofing. Centre bar sticks down slightly lower than the rim, second pic is dimension to centre bar.

Its looking snug at the pulley end, but I don't know how much the engine/transmission is angled downward at the front end.
I am seeing around 180mm from the top of the front lifting eye to the top of the chargecooler ducts, the question is: will this still clear the steel engine hatch?

errr Not with a standard hatch but I'm sure you could modify or make a flat topped hatch giving extra height over the standard corrigated hatch, then you might just do it.

Thanks all! Looks like 7" or 175mm to the seal face is all I can have. I will have to use a plastic hatch and cut the foam to clear.

E D I T Or take an angle grinder to the steel one...

and put 15mm spacers under the engine bar & gearbox mountings!
