I have a 1.6td German import and it needs a new exhaust pipe from the turbo to the silencer. And I'm just wondering what this part dose?

yes, its a catalytic convertor. it will be stifeling your engine a fair bit, remove the whole J pipe and fit the standard part.

It's definitely going! But not looking forward to removing it turbo end them nuts & studs look very corroded. Nice weekend Challenge.

Yeah, could be fun! Give yourself a chance by spaying the nuts every evening for the week leading up to doing it.

Could you get any money. I've heard they get nicked regularly, I could be wrong though.

Apparently they are worth something, mine is in the garage. One day I'll get round to taking it to the scrappy..

Up on the ramps now! plus gas all the nuts&bolts and the same tomorrow and hopefully Saturday morning it will all come apart?
All the things I remove always stay in the garage for a while just in case you never know!!
