Photo of something leaking...what is it?
OK so I can't attach a photo, it says the board attachment quota has been reached!
So...um, I have a leak from something under the van - its very visible, you can see exactly where its coming out of but as I cant show a photo Im not sure how to describe this now!! The fluid is brown and fresh looking...its right in the centre of the underneath of the van...

Describe the fluid a bit more. Is it oily, does it smell etc
Do you have on board water tank?

The last pic shows the fuel line from you main tank, a blue tee to what I guess is a filter (your leak) then a line continuing to a second tee that feeds your Eber fuel pump (the short squat UFO with the thin nylon pipe going to the Eber)
What you have there is a rotten fuel hose, hence the brown goo etc
Fix immediately.

Gas engineers - always safety conscious! Incidentally I recently learnt a new safety device for those with petrol vans after watching the program on diesel. Carry some white mice. If they die either you forgot to feed them or it's time to replace the fuel lines.

Re: Photo of something leaking...what is it?
Axeman yes my van has power steering - I seem to remember the garage saying that I had a 'few' leaks, when I went in a month back to get an oil leak fixed. He mentioned, very vaguely on the phone, that i had a gearbox fluid leak...but he didn't mention that he'd fixed that. I only got charged £50 but he sorted the majority of the oil leak..

Re: Photo of something leaking...what is it?
Its a petrol leak. The first blue tee is off the pipe coming out of your petrol tank, leading to the fuel pump (silver cylinder with a rubber covered plug, two wires) for the EFI injectors.

Re: Photo of something leaking...what is it?
Petrol lines go fairly frequently due to the ethanol in the petrol rotting the lines it seems. It's not that big of a deal to fix, biggest problem being draining the tank. Replace all or make sure whoever does it replaces all. There's a kit on eBay for fuel lines.
