E.H.U Sockets not working

Post by SEKN410 »

Hi All,last night i tried to put my fridge on to cool it down for today.as i went to stock fridge today noticed it wasnt cold. turns out the sockets in the van are not working. there is a red light on r.c.d unit that isnt normally lit altho sometimes it does flicker. is this indicating that there is power getting thru.is there a fuse within that rcd or anywhere else that could affect the sockets.is this a quick / easy fix. thanx eugene and tracy

There are no fuses in rcd devices, have you tried pushing the test button & then resetting it?

May be a bit obvious, but have you checked that the hookup lead is live? Could be simply the fuse in the external power supply.
