Westy wardrobe mod

Post by danmetallic »

Curious to know if anyone here has done the Westy wardrobe mod using tambour rolling door rather than using fridge door or front table. Can you see any potential problems?

Don't know, but if you go down that route, can I have the forward door?

Did they really make those doors so that you can't get in there from inside once the door is opened? Surely the hinges should be at the aft end. (that's how my door is -must be a right pain the wrong way round) Or is it so you can't get at your toaster? :run

Should be hinged at top with a gas strut to hold it open.

I don't think the door at the front is standard on the Jokers. It was probably a modification by one of the previous owners.

Indeed; that's someone's mod door. Usually just a big expanse of teasing grey panelness.
