1980 Devon 2l van, doing pre Mot checks.
Van is off road needing Mot.
Van has plenty of panel rust and seam bubbling. Lots of previous sill and chassis repairs, rear battery trays and corners and front wheel arches replaced.
The main issue now is a large hole about 3 inches wide and 6 inches long in the offside rear sill close to the suspension arm mounting and its rubber bushing.
The arches above it are bad and no doubt let in water over time. The rear arches were fillered and painted 3 years ago.
So how difficult is this sill repair likely to be?

Re: Hole in rear sill
Likely to be a big enough job by the sounds of it. Depends on how well or how badly previous repairs were done but it sounds like someone has fillered over the rust, so it'll probably be worse than it looks. Show us some photos.
