does anybody know how I can check if I have a CR or PD engine ???
in too deep to quit now....

Look for an engine code normaly a sticker on the cambelt cover with a barcode on the sticker.

Common rail,the pd engine was 150 bhp

Just so long as you're *not* considering it as a T25 Alternative Engine..

HAAAAA very good, no I think my wife would notice :)
While you're on Andy .... Van runs a treat, idle is a tad lower which is nice!
Is this correct ...
When I start up and it's at idle, when I go to pull away there is no power what so ever ... I dip the clutch blip the revs and then I can carry on as normal ???
in too deep to quit now....

This is incorrect info..the PD comes in 100. 115, 130, 150...140...170...and that's just the 4 cylinder options...there also the 3 and 5 potter...

The 170 is a PD...Oh and a 105 in the Transporters...Audi and Seat have some other junk as well...think there is a 180 seat FR lump as well...

Makes for a bit of an anti theft feature... but!

Plug in your scanguage and see if its sees any faults.

No faults ..... Came from Andy with no faults,he even made a little wire with an LED to indicate a fault but it's all good ???
