I've a 1990 T25 running great on a 1.6td but I think I'm getting fuel pump issues. The engine keeps randomly over revving. A few gear changes seems to stop it but then it can start over revving again! The accelerator cable to the pedal isn't sticking. Any ideas, Gents?

Sorted with a few bottles of Forte diesel treatment

stick some 2stroke oil in 300ml/tank full of diesel
