Hi guys
I'm all set for wiring in an intermittent relay, but I'm a little confused about the washer functionality.
When I currently work my washers on the front, the wipers sweep twice.
Is there already something else going on, as I didn't think that would happen without an intermittent relay.
My bus has the older barrel fuses if that helps.
I don't want to wade in & set fire to the loom!
I've just replaced the wiper switch as mine had no rear wiper function, even though the rear wiper & loom were all present. Rear wiper now seems to work & the intermittent position is good to go.
Many thanks

So, thought I'd investigate since there's no takers.....
Cut a long story short, even though I had the old barrel type fuse box, the intermittent relay was wired in. (very definitely original wiring)
Strange, since everything I've read seems to point to the older fuse box not being wired this way.
Also, swapped the relay out for a variable one & that's all good to.

What makes you think it was def original wiring? Just curious as the wiper behavior would point to it being added in (correct me if in wrong).

It all looked stock.
Age & colour of the wire.
All part of the buses loom.
No joins in the wiring.
Relay in a holder on the fuse box.
Could be wrong. I make it up as I go along.
