Brakes question

My van has developed an audible knock after braking, not every time and doesn't effect the handling. Has anyone else experienced this or know how what I can check to fix it?

My SA bus sometimes has a "clack" under braking. Everything ia done up tight so its either play in the sliding caliper bushes or the pads shunting in the carrier.

Yes that sounds about right, I'll have a look at the calipers today, strange how it's only just started to happen...
