crazy ignition/reving

Post by dave lfc »

hi everyone just broke down and i thought it was fueling issues.so changed the filters one under the van and the carb one.anyway it wanted to to start but only on one rev sort of thing.anyway i noticed that when i turned the ignition switch the coolant light would not come on unless i wiggled the switch.anyway couldnt get it going so called out the break down guy who was here within 20 mins :D .he also though it was fuelling untill he got into the cab and tried to start it.he tried to start it again and then all of a sudden he wiggled the key in the ignition and the van was reving/running off the key while wiggling the key in the ignition and his foot was on the excellorator :rofl so hopefully i can get an ignition today/tomorow.anyone else have this problem, cheers dave :ok

The switches are a known fault, and cheap to buy.
