just wondered how common the AAZ engine is with 'V' pulley on engine and ancillary equipment.
Searches on the WEB and info from the local VW dealer all seem to return info on the flat belt system (Serpentine?)
Would like to hear what other folk know.

Re: AAZ with 'V' pulleys
i use the v belt setup on my AAZ, juat swapped it straight over from the JX, seems a simpler setup to me and has been working fine for nearly 3 years

Re: AAZ with 'V' pulleys
Jas,
What alternator do you use?
I am having problems sourcing a suitable replacement alternator with 'V' pulley.
The previous owner replaced the JX engine with an AAZ, maybe he changed it over to 'V' pulley?
