Excited as an excited thing!
Have just been to look at the almost finished van after it's spray job.
I am reeeeeally pleased with it. It's the proverbial canine spheroids!
I am going to pick it up tomorrow, then will take some pics for the insurance, and post them up on here.
I had all the Autosleeper stripes and decals re-instated, and I am really glad I did.
In case you are wondering, I had it done by Dave Hyland at Woodhall Spa. http://www.davehylandbodyrepairs.co.uk
He has done a number of T25s and knows the ins and outs of them.

Best part of £4k when you add in all the bits and bobs that I supplied. (Seals, gutter strip, aeriel, new EHU socket etc.)
Next stage is to get the inside reupholstered - but I think that's a job to put on hold till the winter.

I wish you put this thread up a year ago! I'm in Sleaford and spent a ages looking for a good body shop.

Thanks for the lead.
I have the name of someone in Skegness who does the upholstry work for Cav at Revesby garage. If I get no joy there, I will try your contact.
I unearthed a load of small outfits that claim to specialize in doing up campers (painting). There are 4 within a 15 mile radius of me, and a couple in Lincoln.

Re: Excited as an excited thing!
Well it's home, (a day later than planned), and it's real nice. Pics to follow.
I have had to black the tyre walls this evening 'cos they were letting the van down!
It's just like when I had my last brand new motor (black MX5 if you are interested). I have a clean hanky in my pocket - not for my snotty nose, but to remove any minor blemishes that might appear on the nice shiny paintwork.
The question is - how long will this last?
Anyway, we are heading South this weekend. Going to show it off to my family. Then planning a couple of nights camping near Newbury.
The forecast is good, this is what camper vans are for!
Cool running
