CR50 Fridge

Post by nobbyfox »

Yes I know this topic has been done to death but.........
I am now very interested in replacing the RM 184 but have read a few installation instructions that state the fridge needs a drain for the drip tray. Do I have to drill a hole in the floor for the pipe to exit ? I assume it is a drain of some sorts !

Cheers

No. There is a drip tray. If you don't want to use the drip tray then you will have to let it drain somewhere.

Do not put any parts of the fridge in a dishwasher. My wife put the drip tray in the dish washer. We now have a shiny new one. Common mistake apparently.

Thanks for the reply.
So the drip tray is internal and not external? That would make sense. :)

Yes, it sits at the rear just above the salad compartment.

Yep. Done that. Did you just get the replacement one direct from waeco?
