Plans to rebuild Leisuredrive kithchen unit.

Post by bigladwigan »

Hi all, a couple of years ago we refitted our van with a rough but useable kitchen unit. It was the wrong colour and a bit ropey but has done the job. Now the chipboard has let water in and is expanding and crumbling so I plan to make a replica in MDF with vinyl wrap to provide the right finish. I'm hoping that someone may be able to point me at a set of plans so that I don't have to rip the old unit to pieces and make sure we can keep camping whilst I build the new one. The unit is pretty basic allowing for the hob below which is a grill with drop down door then grill then fridge and then on top along side the hob is the sink below which is the 3 shelf cupboard section. At the very end are the 2 folding squares that form the cover for the sink and a prop up extension to the worktop. I can provide pics it'll help someone help me find the specs.

Thanks

Ady

Hi Jeff J, thanks for the link. I'm still going through that lot to see if it has what I need.

I've got a leisuredrive poptop that I've just about finished refurbing, here are some pictures - hopefully this might help?

kept some of the old ply but made mostly of new plywood and then covered with danish oil to bring out the grain
