MOT FAIL hazards and indicators

Post by Tobias13 »

:(

Gerty just failed her MOT, first one with me!,

Any way it failed on the hazards and indicators not operating, they were working last week and the light on the dash illuminates when the switches are engaged!,

Any ideas please?

Need this done fast as I have tickets for dabs and the castle next weekend!!

Thanks

Just found the relay after reading a previous thread and gave it a good wiggle and it all works now!

I will order a spare to be on the safe side!!

Mine stopped working this week. Before unbolting the fuse box to check the relay, I decided to turn the fuse and hey presto they are working again.

Classic bullet fuse fault for indicator circuit, plus one that has hairline crack in the metal that you can't see until you remove and inspect.
