Oil filler question

I recently did an engine oil change, I'm sure that I read somewhere that the filler, behind the number plate, is telescopic. Is that the case? Mine looks like it should be but doesn't move.

It is supposed to telescope outwards.

You’re likely just not pulling your tube hard enough, they can get stiff.
Got a new van, but it's a 165bhp T4 [shock horror] Accurate LPG Station map here

The inner should slide out of the outer, two thumbs in the tube to grip it then pull up. (that's what I do in this context, out of context I don't know! :lol: )
