Speakers to sit on battery covers
I've got old wiring already in place. Can anyone suggest speakers that will sit on battery covers?

Yeah, small domestic ones. Charity shops seem to have them all the time.

Good Idea CK. Is there a wattage that should be safe with elderly wiring?

Re: Speakers to sit on battery covers
18 watts pulls 1.5amps - should be safe at that but it'll still flatten a battery when parked.

Re: Speakers to sit on battery covers
I know CovKid knows this, but I have just popped in to say that it's the power of the amp feeding the speakers that needs to be considered first. Obviously then, the speakers used need to roughly match the power of the amp.
