Clutch flexy fitting

I would like to fit a flex hose for my clutch, as at present I just have a pipe going straight to the slave cylinder. The movement broke the clutch pipe last year, and it's just going to happen again.

I have bought a 38cm flex hose, a 30cm pipe, and two clips (https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/index.php/ ... ip-t3.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) from BW, but can't figure out how they fit. I have no bracket for the flex/pipe joint, but can make one i'm sure. I have an ?early slave cylinder with a conventional union rather than a banjo fitting. Can someone help me figure it out, with photo's maybe?

Try looking at this website it has an exploded view of the slave and it's connections, you may have to register with VAG Cat to view the images buty it is free to register and is invaluable for T25 owners that have not got the Bently manual or Etka

Thanks nevill3, I think I had seen this before, but it doesn't help me with the way to use the clip. I know for the brake pipe joint, the hole in the bracket is big enough for the smaller (male?) part of the union to pass through, but not the larger (female?), and the clip fits on the smaller side to fix things. But that clip is not so nearly flat as this clip. Is it the same principle here? i.e. do I need to make a hole in the bracket large enough for the same to apply? Nope, tried putting them together on the table - the clip has a slot in it that is too big for the smaller part of the union, but the larger part can bear on it. So that would suggest a bracket with a smaller hole in it, with the clip on the side of the flexi.

That's a spare bit left over from a seat belt kit. Does that look ok in principle?

It's just started raining. At least I'll be dry while I'm under the van...

It's 9:45, and I've come into the dry. It's a bit dark with the rain, but sunrise tomorrow is at 4:12a.m. here in the north, so by the time I get up it'll give me a good shot at finishing. Left it with a steady drip from one of the joints, and raining pouring down the drive under the van and under me
