How to remove hub dust caps?!?!

Post by Lucky82 »

Having a frustrating time trying to remove the dust caps from the wheel hub. Have been tapping and prizing with a screwdriver for the past few hours now and no sign of them shifting

Are there any tricks of the trade to make this easier?

Also, mine didn't come with any dust caps at the rear, are there meant to be some?

Thanks,

Pete

Water pump pliers or Mole grips, you can also gently tap around them with a hide mallet to get them moving, easier if you jack up and spin the wheel.
Rears don't have a cover, but they are done up VERY tight.
