Multivan fitting questions

Post by Oilline »

I have just got hold of a part Multuivan interior. Just the moulded side panals and fold down table. Im still trying to find the seat/bed.
My question is how is the folding table bracket fitted? looks like it fits inside the cavity with the feet in the recess behind the panal. the braket has 2 elongated slots at the top
which look as though they fastend to a bracket that i do not have. Anybody got any pictures of this? I would of thought the feet would bolt through the floor, but the feet on my bracket are not drilled for fixings?

Also on a multivan, how are the pillars finished? Is it a moulded panel which covers the pillars and overlaps the lower moulded pananls? Or is it the headlining that extends down the pillars and does it overlap the lower panal to give a neat edge?

Or is there a trim piece that sits over the top edge of the lower panals to finish it off?

I'm needing to remove the complete table panel on my multivan as the table has stuck in the closed position, I'll see if I can take some pictures when I tackle the job.

As for the headlining, it does extend down the pillars to meet the plastic panels and there is a plastic trim piece fixed to the body that the top of the plastic panels clip into. I'll take some pictures tonight of the pillars and trim.

There will be some pics in my build where I'm stripping the van for paint.

Hi Lloyd
Any idea around which page you are stripping the interior. Takes me ages to trawl through it all
