radiator 1981 t25 diesel

hi, i have a leaking radiator, which has two switches for the two speed fan i think. what are my alternatives for a replacement, can i fit a newer radiator with a single switch for both temps for the fan ????

The new radiator will accommodate both types of switches.

I don't understand why you want a single speed fan if you have the better two speed fan.

its not the fan, I need a new radiator but the new rads are different, only one hole for thermoswitch and both water pipes at the bottom of radiator instead of one at the top, one at the bottom.

Yes the thermoswitch operates both speeds. It has three spade connectors.
Your original radiator doesn't sound right to me, but maybe somebody else can clear that up.

But as far as I can tell radiators have always been common to petrol and diesel in that they are as you describe, bottom outlets and one place for the switch.
Perhaps you can wire the extra switch into the new single one, seeing as you have the loom in place.
