Devon Mooraker or Eurec Cassandra Installation-Guide

Post by SyncroMatze »

Hi,

we are going to install our just bought Eurec Cassandra soon and wanted to check if there are any information out there, regarding the hole, which must be cut into the roof of the T25. We got some images from the previous owner, when he dismantled the roof from a van. On the images it's clear how it was installed to the roof, but we're not sure if this was the original way of installing this roof to the van. Especially the images, where the metal is all wavy made us skeptical.

Please, if anyone has some more information (photos / installation guide / cutting-template) which could help, we would appreciate it! Here are the images from the previous owner: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/sxrlsaxstvnt ... U1vma?dl=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Or can somebody approve, that this was the original way to install the Moonraker / Cassandra roof??

Thanks all!!

That looks to be exactly as the one i removed from a scrap van and i fitted it the same
I would recomend replacing the metal plates inside the fiberglass that the hinges fix to as if they are anything like mine they will be a sheet of rust.

@MGP: From our metal plates is also not much more left than a few breadcrumbs of rust... Going to cut open the fiber glass, and replace the old ones with rebuilt stainless steal plates, and close it with glass fiber and epoxy again.

@Pete: Looks like Devon / Eurec did not do the best bending job and our images are from the original van. Thanks!
