Westfalia poptop - flocking can you dye it?

Post by jc_geddes »

As the title - can you dye flocking? It would like to dye the flocking in the Welty poptop roof a coup of shades darker - is it possible??

Cheers

No idea. but I have some stretch felt / carpet type stuff I'm going to try and glue to my existing flocking to cover it, make it neater and add (a little bit of) extra insulation. Going to try and do it with roof in situ so I'll let you know how I get on with that approach!

Thanks - please do.

I am assuming that it's a no as its a synthetic material.

Saw an episode of Wheeler Dealers the other day where they dyed a parcel sheft using normal car spray paint, looked quite effective.
