Flywheel/Bellhousing blanking plug?

Post by slowcoach »

Today while doing some fixes on the engine (split coolant pipe, bleeding and fuel line re-routing) i noticed i could see straight through the casing to the flywheel, spinning round.. is this normal??? seems weird! should there be a blanking plug or something? I don't recall ever seeing this.. though of course it could have always been like this too..

Never had one on mine, never worried about it, I think the money is best spent on something more important.
