jx sump and oil filler gasket replacement

Hi

looking at doing these gaskets over next couple days.Any tips on what to do and what not to do ? before i start and do something wrong.

Don't use any gasket seal on the sump or the filler
Make sure both mating surfaces are nice and clean
Work grease into your cork gasket and don't over tighten the nuts/bolts better a little slack than over tightened and stripped

thanks gasket is not cork seems to be plastic.

Plastic or cork I would still rub a little grease on there or fit it dry its up to you just don't use sealant else there will be tears at bed time if it finds its way into the sump and onto oil strainer
