Wheels fitted is this correct ?

Post by sternal »

Today I had a bit of spare time so I fitted the wheels, really happy with how it looks.

But to be double sure its these two bolts that needed removing on the rear ?

Hand tightened the conversion studs with thread lock as directed by brickwerks.

Many thanks for confirming

Why are they there if it's okay for them to be removed ?

If fitting new shoes would they need to go back on to then be taken off again ? So as to centre ?

Totally okay to take them of and disregard them, there are there originally to help hold everything in place when you refit the drums after working on the rears , whilst you adjust the shoes out against them .But you can just wind a wheel nut on to do this. If you hadnt of taken them of then you would have wobbly rear wheels  ...It happens :?
