Chrome window trim

Chrome window trim

I've been scouring around for chrome window trim this morning (inserts for window rubbers on Caravelle etc) as £6 a metre at JK seemed a bit high. Found: http://www.vintagecarparts.co.uk/part.phtml?PartID=2374 at £1.65 metre.

Looks like right dimensions to me and a lot cheaper. I'm still waiting on quotes from other sources but anyone who wants to replace theirs might try there.

Well theres my contribution for this afternoon.

The link I gave at the top of this thread looks identical to that stocked by JK but a third of the price. It has a diamond shaped profile. JK's price of £6 worked out expensive if you were doing a whole caravelle - hence hunting around for a better deal. Glad I was of some help.

Woolies Trim is in the village - (there's handy then)
they aren't open at weekends but if anyone ever needed to pick
something up & could only come through on the weekend then
they could always collect it from my shop (in the main market place).

window rubber

Post by tangalooma flyer »

Has anyone fitted this rubber because it isn't the same profile as the original plastic chrome insert on the bit that clips in? if so how do you get it in? Andy
