New Carpet Lining

Post by Ant-t »

Not sure if this is the right place for this (mods please move if not) but I'm thinking of replacing the original carpet interior lining that is now pretty tired and crumbling to dust. Has anyone done this and can provide any tips or info?
Cheers :D

For lining the sides? I used a similar product to megavan mats stretch carpet, with a high temp adhesive, surprisingly easy to use whether applied direct to metal, or to lining boards, and stretches round curves easily. Afraid I can't remember who I used, but there's loads of choice.

Thanks for the info, yes it's for the sides, mainly inside hightop and living area in van. Will have a look at the mats you mentioned, cheers

I've just done exactly the same, used the carpet fron van guard conversions, excellent quality, easy to use and much cheaper than most!! I put over 30 meters into my van, look clean and feels fresh!!

Yea high top, did the lot!!

I made panels for the high top because I wanted to insulate the van and didn't think the carpet would last glued to the insulation I had!! Also did the wardrobes!!

Photos here on a thread I did last week!!
