Visual Differences between 1.7d and 1.6d engine

Hi all. I'm a newbie.
Looking to try and identify what lump is in my van.
What are the, if any, Visual Differences between 1.7d and 1.6d engine please?
It's a 1990 and a 5 speed but for all I know could've had a box change.
Any simple way of identifying please?

If it is a 1990 non turbo I think it would be 1.7 although I thought all the diesels were 1.6 jx turbo by that date?

It will have it pressed on the engine block my 1.9 has.

my van is a 1989 original lump was 1.7 d

1.6 0r 1.7 cast into block ,cyl head number on head starts 068 for 1.6 and 033 for 1.7 same on inj pump
