AAZ turbo oil feed problem
I recently bought a new..ish turbo for my aaz , however noticed this morning the oil feed and drain part of the turbo ( sorry don't know technical name for it) is about 30 degrees out compared to the old one (see pic) so my oil feed pipe is no way going to connect. Don't know if or why there was any variations on models/years of golfs/passats etc? Anyway has anyone fitted a braided/flexi feed pipe to one of these as it seems my best option.

"IF" you can loosen the bolts you can rotate the centre to the desired angle. The bolts on the alloy snail should loosen easily but the ones on the cast iron snail tend to seize up

thanks I thought the cast end was 'fixed' and could only be turned 90 degrees sorted now ( I think!)
