PC hardware question...

Any idea what I need to use this as a external Hardrive? It's from my old laptop and I have a load f pics on here. The old laptop is kaput btw!

Also any suggestions what to do with a bust old laptop, anything worth reusing!?

I just use a USB to sata/ide adapter. Just the first one I looked at - just make sure it comes with a power supply if you don't have your own means of powering the drive. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USB-2-0-TO-SA ... 4aab82e152

Thanks both, that one in a case looks like the best option. Bought! Now I wonder what I will find on that hard drive... might fix that whilst the wife is out! Haha!

You may get a "you do not have permission to........" (delete / copy etc) type error message when trying to access files on the external drive. It's a Microsoft "security" thing. Shout out if you get stuck on that, there is a fairly easy solution.
