Led lighting suddenly dull

Post by clarry69 »

HELP
I've just spent 3 hours fitting LED lighting round the top of my van and over fridge etc, run them from leisure battery through fuse box and via 2 switches (one fore each set). They looked great, were nice and bright and I turned them on/off about 10 times to test them.
I replaced the fridge and plugged that back in to the 240v socket (shouldn't affect the 12v circuit should it?) called my son to show him my work and the LED lights came on but are really dim?
what's gone wrong please?

Probably not a bad one Gary, the vans been parked up for 10 days and I've been mucking about with it a lot. Will give it a boost and see what happens!

just start the engine, that'll up the voltage. Or just put a multimeter on your battery and check it
