QED.

In 50 years of motoring & many miles & different vehicles I am fairly sure I have only ever had to replace 4 bulbs. A number plate lamp on a 10 year old Rover 75, a stop/tail light on a 1981 Chevette, a courtesy light on a VW Caravelle ( can't remember year) & a headlight bulb on an Avenger. None on my 1985 Autosleeper
