I just found these tucked behind the door card to the rear of the van.. I've mentioned before, but apparently it was an ex BBC van and has some odd extensions, mic wires etc all over it. Its earthed to the van. What could these be for? Can I take them out Im wondering?

You should check to see if they have a feed. Try and trace them back to see where they come from.

If you find any lost episodes of Dr Who in there, you may well get your money back and more :D

Interestingly I've worked with both BBC and ITV and they often arrived as a crew in a posh VW minibus but the use of T25s is a new one on me. Must be partly to do with outside broadcasts (sound/lighting?) as they were not used as TV detector vans to my knowledge. Could even have been used by radio stations too I suppose.

Haha! I know...what can I say? I'm pretty sure the guy that sold it to me was on another planet - I think perhaps he liked to *think* of it being used for the BBC to glam up all the odd aerials and wires.
