New van won't idle

Hi guys picked up my new panel van yesterday, it doesn't idle when warm.

I believe it may be a 1.9 df? With a solex carb, can anyone confirm this...



The van starts fine cold, and it seems the choke works as it should, but once warm it dies.

I have changed all the vac hoses, and the brake servo hose.
Can anyone advise where to go next???

Then theres either an air leak around the carb somewhere (try spraying WD40 around bottom flap spindles for starters plus possibly fit a carb kit) or a leaking gasket somewhere on the inlet ports.

If throttle flap spindle is worn, Roger Ball in Clacton will sort it for you at reasonable cost. Mail order not a prob.

Problem solved I'm buzzin!!

It was the idle shut off valve, had a fiddle and a wd40 and wallah!!!
