Your thoughts on my interior colour lining

Post by Jonnyb416 »

We are having a slight dilemma and would like to hear your thoughts should you wish.

I am about to line the interior of my van. So far I have bought the smoke mega stretch material which is a sort of medium grey/smoke colour. With this I plan to line the hightop roof, cab roof, the inner roof (what you would see when lay in bed) and all other bits of tricky trim around windows, pillars, seat boxes etc.

I have worked out I need more material to just cover the paneling (usual places) what I would like to know is should I go for a) a lighter grey b) a darker grey c) same colour grey and why?

If you have used 2 different grey colours in your van I'd love to hear from you especially. Obviously all comments welcome. There will be plenty of colour in the seating material, curtains, cushions etc.

Thanks, Jon.

Hi Jon,

I've used Anthracite low down and smoke aroud windows, as that's close to what my van had when I first got it.
I've a cream headliner fitted, I'm happy with the colours although may go down the vinyl sliding door cards route at some stage.
