'My fresh water tank is green and slimey , even with steriliser tabs etc , I don't really fancy letting the kids clean their teeth wash hands etc with the water from tank.
However everything works fine so is there an option of removing pump from tank and placing in new portable water carrier one so we can still use tap / sink ?
Thanks

Re: Fresh water tank
Should be. I've always used a slot in - slot out water container because they're easier to clean. Trick though is to empty them immediately after use and remove any cap/seal so it dries out.
I should add, if you do get a slimed tank, the best way to clear this out is bleach then rinse very well. Even my water bottle gets this treatment during the summer months and it is made far worse if the container is exposed to sunlight. Miltons steriliser is another possibility - it just takes slightly longer.
