I put a post on last year asking if people used leveling ramps when camping (you know the Fiamma style). Well I ended up buying a set and use them quite frequently for getting under the van to work on. Only raise it up about 15cm but its still a good amount on a lowered van.
Made an utter tit of myself!!! Been given some car ramps and so I tried to back the van up on to them, the problem was, I have a gravel drive - a touch of wheel spin and next thing I know the ramps are in front if the rear wheels!! As luck would have it, the height of the van meant that I could just slide the ramps out sideways. No damage was done fortunately. I have to admit, I did look around to see if there were any witnesses - not much chance as I live down a little lane
Be careful out there, folks
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?
Drove right over the ramp with my daughter's Punto last week - I wasn't used to all that power after driving the van! Only a little bend in the bottom of the wheel arch.
I wish I'd taken a pic of my van with the ramps ' the wrong side' of the wheels. To be honest, I was too busy trying to clear up 'the crime scene' before anyone could witness it!!
