Also using RJES blue fuel pump, rubber mounted to chassis rail, is quite noisey though.

I also have the RJES fuel pump and confirm it is quite noisy. Any one got any ideas why this is or if it can be quieted down?

Try changing the angle / tilting the pump making sure there is no air trapped in it. Mine drove me mad, moving it slightly when I was going to throw it made all the difference. Can't hear it now.

Had huge problems with noisy pumps and tried everything to fix it. Then discovered the problem was the smaller out tube on the non fuel injection tank was restricting the flow to the pump. Bought a later model tank, larger fuel line for the tank side of the pump, new Bosch pump with fitting kit from Glencoe (http://www.glencoeltd.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), high flow filter and it works great. Finally no noise.

Hi

Been searching the forum for a few bits and came across your thread, I also have a very annoying and loud fuel pump and need to replace my filter. Would you know which items you bought?

Many thanks

James
