I'm doing a 1.9 carb DG to 2.5 scooby and have fitted the fuel injection tank, along with pump and filter and new fuel lines and the 2.1 radiator and fan and wiring loom (as that was easiest and had the parts) - I guess you'd do the same
new filler neck rubber and ring and new breather flex hoses and seals and fuel gauge sender seal
you might have to change to later filler neck to suit the tank
some who have tried to go with original carb tank have suffered repeated fuel pump failures; the filter in the injection tank protects the pump which is cooled by the fuel passing through it and needs a good feed both to cool and provide flow rate once pressurized; the injection type steel canister filter should come next which protects the injectors

Do you have a build thread for the conversion? Would be really interested to see how involved the Aircooled to water cooled Subaru conversion is...

hi , no I haven't done a build thread on it I'm afraid, obviously you have to get the coolant pipes , rad ,& associated brackets to hold the rad & cut the front panel out & sort the fuel tank out as well , what I didn't realise is that the cooling fan housing won't fit as the floor panels are different between Aircooled & watercooled :? i notice you are in west sussex if you come down southampton way at all you are welcome to pop in & have a look
