How unsafe is this?

So, my van is hopefully going in for a full resto but probably not until September. In the mean time, I have this rather rotten jacking point which I'm pretty sure would fail an MOT(around June).
What's the most cost effective way of getting a temp fix for this? It doesn't have to look pretty as it will be redone in September but it has to pass MOT and be safe.

Well... its folded under jacking load so that says a lot about its lack of strength. There is no quick fix, the bottom of the sill end has gone and the vertical stiffener wil be weetabix or fresh air.
On the verge of parting company I would say. Repaired the same a couple of years ago.

Wouldn't drive it in that condition. Only way is cut out the rot, straighten it all up and weld in hefty new metal where the old metal used to be.

How long did it take you to do all of the work?

And do you know anyone near London who could do this work?

That was a particulary fine April 2011 working on my drive
Must have been a good days work all in, I had to work it out as I went.
I did the swingarm spring seat repair too, it depends what yoy find as you strip it down.
You are going to have the van recovered, I wouldnt drive it.
Admittedly the jacking point/swingarm mount appears to be secure on the rearcrossmember and that takes most of the load, but who knows?

You will only need the lower bit of the arch, say the last 6" to get you to the lower swage. This much has to be removed so you can see whats going on in there. (Why do people cut out good steel for no good reason?)

You may need a new jacking point although yours looks passable. Again get it cut out and all the scale cleaned off first.

Also the inner sill panel. Some 2mm sheet steel will do for that and also to reconstruct the inner vertical as shown here:
