Hi.
our existing solex carbs are well past it.
I'm quite happy to invest in replacement carburettors but the eternal question is what should I get?
The engine is a stock 1.9 CU unit with original distributor, so has the vacuum advance and retard setup.
Questions I currently have include do I need automatic chokes. what about the dual vacuum setup, and is it worth looking for a setup that gives more power.
your collective wisdom would be much appreciated .

Unless you really want to, replace with same spec carbs. Mine always work a treat if you look after them!
